Teach GenAI Webinar: Customized chatbots in teaching

Grounded GAI (GGAI), also referred to as customized chatbots, are large language models (LLMs) that have been instructed, structured, and tested by educators to operate within a clearly defined academic domain. This webinar explores how GGAI and customized chatbots can be used as didactic resources in university teaching to support students’ academic development and learning, both as optional resources for independent study and as shared tools for collaboration and co-creation. Particular attention is given to the opportunities and challenges associated with their use, including transparency, academic integrity, copyright, and the quality of student work. The webinar also considers the broader didactic implications of GGAI, including how these technologies may shape learning activities and influence the role of the educator.
